All About Me

My name is Johnny Watchman. I am currently enrolled into the Arts Education program at the University of Regina. I graduated from Indian Head High School (a small community just outside Regina along Hwy 1) in 2012. I have been interested in teaching for quite some time now, I have some relatives who are teachers and they have really become an inspiration to me to become a teacher. I always have had this constant need for learning, I’ll always find myself finding out new ways to go about creating an artwork or a new strategy to help me teach others and help them discover their own set of skills.  My major is Visual Arts, I love being able to think of an image and being able to convey that idea from my mind into a real piece of art that can be viewed by anyone. My minor is English, I have always found writing to be a useful skill and have recently been intrigued in providing help to those who need help with creative writing. In addition to becoming a teacher, I am currently building a recognition in the local tattoo industry as a sketch artist among the shops and eventually begin to actually tattoo someone because to see your artwork on someone is extremely gratifying.
